Our Adventure Fund

We’re getting married! And as we begin this next chapter together, there’s something we would love even more than adding more “things” to our home: the chance to make memories together. For anyone who would like to give a wedding gift, we’ve created Kat & Dru’s Adventure Fund to help us plan an unforgettable trip through Switzerland and surrounding areas of Europe as newlyweds. This won’t just be a vacation. One of the most meaningful parts of our journey will be visiting the Textilmuseum St. Gallen in Switzerland, home to pieces from the historic Iklé lace collection. The Iklé family’s connection to the textile and lace industry dates back generations, making this an incredibly special opportunity for Kathryn to experience a tangible piece of her family’s history—and for us to experience it together. From St. Gallen, we hope to continue exploring Switzerland and neighboring destinations, visiting museums and historic places, experiencing new cultures, enjoying some incredible food, and, most importantly, making memories together as we begin married life. Contributions to our $8,000 goal will help with airfare, accommodations, train travel throughout Europe, museum visits, meals, and some of the special experiences we hope to enjoy along the way. There is absolutely no expectation to contribute. Having the people we love celebrate this exciting chapter with us is already a gift. But for those who would like to be part of our adventure, we would be incredibly grateful. We promise to take lots of photos, bring home plenty of stories, and raise a glass to everyone who helped make the journey possible.
